Chili Cheese Burger
The Chili Cheese Burger is a delicious variation. It consists of two juicy beef patties served on a bun. The special thing about this burger is the addition of a spicy chili cheese sauce, which gives it its unique taste. Jalapeños or other hot peppers are added to increase the spiciness. Some versions of the Chili Cheese Burger also contain a portion of chili con carne.
This burger is ideal for anyone who likes it hot and spicy.
TIP:
Jalapeños are too spicy for you? No problem, use pickled peppers from a jar instead.

For the burger
2 brioche buns
400 g ground beef
8 tbsp chili cheese sauce
40 g jalapeños (from the jar)
40 g butter
Pinch of salt & black pepper
Oil for frying
Preparation in 5 steps
Season the ground beef with salt and pepper and form into appropriate balls. They should then be covered and placed in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Heat the pan with a little oil on the stove or place the reversible plate in the direct zone of the gas grill and adjust the heat level to maximum direct and indirect heat.
Fry or grill the patties for a few minutes per side. On the grill, they should be brought to the desired degree of doneness in the indirect zone. After grilling, a little salt can be sprinkled on as desired.
Cut the buns in half and spread butter on both sides. They should be placed face down on the reversible plate or in the pan and roasted for a few minutes.
Brush the bottom half of the bun with a tablespoon of chili cheese sauce and also add a tablespoon of chili cheese sauce to the patties. Top the patty with jalapeños before placing a second patty on top. Spread two tablespoons of chili cheese sauce on the second half of the bun and place it on the burger.
