Flavour Homemade Double Burger

The Flavour Homemade Double Burger is a real treat for all burger lovers. It consists of two juicy beef patties that are cooked on a hot grill or in a pan until they are perfect. The patties are typically seasoned with spices and herbs to create a rich, hearty flavour.

Between the two patties you will often find a layer of melted cheese, which serves to hold the pieces of meat together and provide additional creaminess and flavour.

One of our absolute favourites. It's a really juicy delicious burger with double the meat!

For the burger

4 burger buns

1 pound ground beef (per patty ~125 g)

Cheddar

Salt & black pepper

Oil for frying

Burger sauce

1 onion, diced

1 dill pickle, diced

240 g mayonnaise

125 g ketchup

125 g mustard

Salt & black pepper

Olives / vegetable oil

Preparation in 5 steps

For the burger sauce, first cut an onion into small cubes and put it in the pan. Fry the onion pieces until golden brown with a little oil.

Meanwhile, cut a dill pickle into small cubes. Put the dill pickle in a bowl with mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard and the fried onions and mix everything together. Season the sauce with salt and pepper.

Form the ground beef into patties and fry them in the pan for 3 minutes on each side. Season one side of the burger patty with salt and pepper and place a slice of cheese on each side.

Brush the inside of the burger bun with soft butter and heat until it turns a crispy, golden brown color.

Now assemble the burger. Brush the bottom with the burger sauce and place the finished burger patty on top. Then apply burger sauce again and place another patty with another layer of burger sauce on top. Finally, place the top part of the burger bun on top.

TIP:

To help the cheese melt better, place a burger dome over the burger patty for a few minutes.
